HIV Ban Repeal Introduced in Senate

On December 14, Senator John Kerry introduced legislation (S.2486) that would remove the HIV ban from the INA (Immigration & Nationality Act).

We also would like to thank the two original co-sponsors - Senators Richard Durbin and Gordon Smith - for supporting this very important piece of legislation.
